Data deletion
You can ask us to delete your Leafdrop data at any time, and you can cut off Leafdrop’s access to Facebook and Google yourself in a few clicks.
Delete your Leafdrop data
- Email [contact email] from the email address on your Leafdrop account, with the subject “Delete my data”.
- Say whether you want your whole workspace deleted (account owners only) or just your own user account.
- We confirm the request by replying to that address, then delete the data within 30 days and email you when it’s done.
A workspace deletion removes your account, your workspace, your brands, connected Pages and locations, the stored Facebook and Google tokens, scheduled and past posts, uploaded photos, reviews and replies stored in Leafdrop, and drafts. We keep only what the law requires (for example billing records), and server logs expire on their own within 30 days.
Deleting data in Leafdrop does not delete posts already published on Facebook or replies already posted on Google. Remove those on Facebook or Google directly if you want them gone.
Remove Leafdrop’s access to Facebook
- Open Meta Business settings.
- Go to Users → System users, choose the system user you created for Leafdrop, and remove it, or remove its access to specific Pages.
- Optionally, under Accounts → Apps, remove the Leafdrop app.
If you connected Facebook with your personal account instead, go to Facebook Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations, select Leafdrop and choose Remove.
Remove Leafdrop’s access to Google
- Sign in to the Google account you connected and open myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- Select Leafdrop and choose Delete all connections (or “Remove access”).
After you remove access, Leafdrop can no longer read or post anything for you, and the connection shows as needing reconnecting in the app. To also delete the data Leafdrop already stored, email us as described above.
